GRANT FUNDING FOR TRAINING CLUBS

Coronavirus hit the sport & physical activity hard and we know things have been tough, especially for our training clubs. Have you thought about applying for one of the many grants that are out there for non-profit organisations.
Injections of grant funding can have a very positive effect on a dive club’s vitality.

Sport England have a couple of initiatives that we think may be of interest to our clubs:

Queen's Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund

This fund aims to use sport and physical activity as a means of bringing a community together and tackling nequalities via awards of between £300 and £10,000 from a pot of £5 million of National Lottery funding.

Active Together

Active Together is a crowdfunding initiative that can match fund, up to £10,000, successful Crowdfunder campaigns
from a total pot of £7.5m.

Ten top tips for writing successful funding bids

Writing, submitting and securing grant funding for your organisation can be a stressful experience; where do you start, what do you write, how do you get across the importance of a project / idea that you passionately believe in and once funded and up and running will make a significant difference to peoples’ lives?
